Little Ghost plans to open a second location at 20567 Mack Ave. in Grosse Pointe Woods in early 2027. The fast-casual burger restaurant drew long lines when it opened in Ferndale in August 2025.
Four Man Ladder Hospitality, the Detroit-based group behind Little Ghost, announced the expansion in a Sunday, Oct. 11, news release, as the Detroit Free Press reported. The new spot sits across from Parcells Middle School, according to the Detroit News.
The Grosse Pointe Woods restaurant will be about 2,400 square feet, roughly twice the size of the Ferndale original on Woodward Avenue, the Free Press reported. The larger footprint means a bigger kitchen and indoor seating for dine-in customers. The Ferndale location operates as a walk-up window with carryout and local delivery only.
Diners can expect the same core menu, including the Single Ghost Burger, a one-third-pound beef patty topped with house-made “ghost” sauce, shredded iceberg lettuce and melted American cheese. The restaurant uses beef from Fairway Packing Co., according to the Free Press. Chicken sandwiches, hot dogs and doughnuts round out the lineup, along with gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian and kid-friendly options, the Detroit News reported.
One new addition: milkshakes.
The restaurant will also offer grab-and-go online ordering, according to the Detroit News. Customers can expect the same bold branding, with purple and pink bags.
Four Man Ladder Hospitality is led by chefs Joe Giacomino and John Vermiglio, along with partners Will Lee and Michael Gray. The group also operates Grey Ghost in Detroit’s Midtown, Second Best bar and Basan Japanese Cuisine, all in Detroit. Grey Ghost celebrated its 10-year anniversary in the summer of 2026, according to the Free Press.
When the owners opened the Ferndale Little Ghost, they said in a news release they had plans to grow the concept to more locations. An exact opening date for the Grosse Pointe Woods restaurant has not been announced.
