A free community discussion on recovery, resilience and personal growth will take place Wednesday, Oct. 28, at the War Memorial in Grosse Pointe Farms.

The Family Center of Grosse Pointe and Harper Woods is organizing the event, titled “From Surviving to Thriving: Practical Strategies for Recovery, Resilience and Living Your Best Life.”
